From Psalm 27

The LORD is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear...One thing I have desired of the LORD, That will I seek; That I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the LORD...I would have lost heart, unless I had believed that I would see the goodness of the LORD in the land of the living. Wait on the LORD; Be of good courage, and he shall strengthen your heart; wait , I say, on the LORD!

Where in the World

In case you were wondering where in the world we will be going - here is a map of China highlighting the Capitol of The Xinjiang Uighur Autonomous Region. This is where we will stay when we receive Joshua. The ShiHeZi orphanage is actually a couple hours to the northwest of Urumqi. Urumqi is an interesting city. It has a population of 2 million people. It is usually pronounced as something that sounds like Woo Luh Moo Chee . Don't try to look at it and say it at the same time...

Our agency received our travel visas back from the Chinese Consulate today. We are still waiting for our Travel Approval document from the China Center for Adoption Affairs. If we get it by the beginning of next week, we might be able to travel with our agency's next travel group. That will probably take a few miracles, but we know all things are possible. We're trying to be ready in case of a miracle...
